Text: "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever." - Gandhi
Gandhi (2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948), was the pre-eminent political and ideological leader of India during the Indian independence movement. He led nationwide campaigns to ease poverty, expand women's rights, build religious and ethnic amity, end untouchability, and increase economic self-reliance. Among his most influencial and far-reaching ideas, is “Satyagraha,” non-violent mass civil resistance as an effective means to overcome oppression.
